That's all you need to know about placing Valheim map markers and using the ping system. There are no large direction indicators or waypoints pointing you to them, so you'll need to use a combination of charts to find them. Note that these symbols will only appear on the mini-map when you get close to them. You can also left-click a marker to put a black "X" over it, indicating you've already visited the location for example. To remove a marker, simply hover over it and right-click.
